We are looking for a competent, motivated, and independently working personality for a 100% position as a Lecturer in Physiology to teach medical students starting January 1, 2026 (or by arrangement). The position is initially limited to 3 years.
Your tasks
Teaching is conducted in German and is aimed at students of human and dental medicine in the bachelor's program (corresponding to the "Physikum"). Teaching includes lectures, tutorials, and practical courses. The focus of the teaching activity will be cardiovascular physiology. Other important topics include cell physiology, autonomic and somatic nervous systems, kidney, and respiration. A dedicated research laboratory will not be provided, and no scientific research is expected.
Your profile
We are looking for a personality with:
- a background in medicine or a related biomedical field with solid knowledge of human physiology
- a habilitation in physiology or an equivalent qualification
- experience in university teaching
- excellent German and English skills
- outstanding communication and organizational skills
- a committed, solution-oriented, and self-motivated personality
- a strong enthusiasm for imparting knowledge and interacting with students
