Secretary
Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Mobility | 100% | Chur
The Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Mobility (DIEM) includes the sectors of energy, hydropower, natural hazards, public transport, construction, civil engineering, procurement, forests as well as hunting, large predators, and fishing. It consists of five offices as well as the department secretariat, which as the central coordinating body supports the director in the technical and political management of the department. The department secretariat provides its services at the "sinergia" administrative center, located near the Chur West station, in a modern, open, and digitally oriented work environment. There is also the possibility to work partly from home.
For the department secretariat, we are looking for a secretary starting January 1, 2026, or by agreement.
Tasks
- Handling correspondence and administrative tasks
 - Support in handling general departmental matters
 - Final processing and sending of requests, reports, and statements as well as messages, parliamentary interventions, decisions, and regulatory acts
 - Support in solving IT problems in collaboration with the responsible IT officer
 - Maintaining the agenda, preparing meetings, and planning deadlines
 - Ensuring the telephone service of the secretariat
 - Managing incoming mail and dispatches
 - Taking on additional tasks according to workload
 
What we expect from you
- Completed commercial training and several years of professional experience
 - Structured, forward-looking, independent, and precise working method
 - Service- and solution-oriented personality
 - Ability to work in a team, willingness to intervene, and initiative
 - Discretion
 - Proficiency in using MS Office
 - Fluency in written and spoken German; knowledge of another national language is an advantage
