As a Practice Solution Manager (PSM) (m/f/d) in Alcon's Vision Care division, you play a central role in expanding market share and strengthening customer loyalty. You implement innovative activities that support our customers' business success, promote customer loyalty, and drive digital solutions as well as sales activities.
The position is designed as a home office role within the defined travel area (Zurich, Bern, Basel, St. Gallen) in Switzerland. It requires a high willingness to travel, primarily within Switzerland, occasionally also abroad in Europe.
A typical workday in this role includes:
Consulting and customer retention: Close collaboration with decision-makers, ECPs, and store teams to achieve jointly agreed goals
Introduction of digital platforms by implementing digital solutions for customer acquisition and retention, especially in the area of subscription systems
Planning and conducting training and fitting events to support and improve the end consumer's purchasing experience
Targeted implementation of POS strategies and merchandising concepts to increase product awareness and support sell-out in stationary retail.
Collaboration with the Business Development Manager and other departments to develop and implement a first-class business support model
WHAT YOU BRING TO ALCON:
Bachelor of Science FHNW in Optometry with extensive optical training and at least 3 years of professional experience.
In-depth knowledge in the field of optometry or ophthalmology as well as in the implementation of digital solutions to promote sales
An established network within the optical industry that can be specifically used for market development, customer retention, and business expansion
Strong self-organizational skills, negotiation skills, experience in change management, and a strong customer orientation
Fluent German and very good English skills, preferably also Italian and/or French
