Job Description
Reporting to the Day and Night Pastry Chef, the essential responsibilities and functions of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Consistently provide a professional, friendly, and engaging service
- Ensure with the team the production, preparation, plating, and sending of products
- Manage stock and food orders for the service
- Ensure proper rotation, labeling, and storage of food to reduce costs
- Maintain the pastry and equipment in good condition
- Comply with HACCP standards
- Manage the organization of work within the section and ensure the training of pastry assistants, apprentices, and interns under their responsibility.
- Follow instructions given by the direct supervisor
- Be able to manage the workstation independently always under the supervision of a superior
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- CAP / BEP Pastry or Professional Baccalaureate in Pastry
- 2 years of significant experience within a brigade
- Organizational skills, responsiveness, and autonomy
- Speed of execution
- Strict adherence to work procedures
- Ability to work in a team
- High availability in terms of working hours
