Technology Engineer (a)

Your tasks with us

• You test prototypes (machines and assemblies) in the area of cylindrical grinding
• You test new software solutions (user interface, grinding cycles) in the area of cylindrical grinding, e.g., as part of software releases
• You further develop grinding technologies in close collaboration with suppliers of grinding wheels and dressing tools
• You support the development team in new developments from a user perspective
• You take over troubleshooting as part of the 3rd-level support for current and older generations
• You train sales, process engineering, and customer service regarding technical innovations
• You support test and acceptance grinding of customer parts with higher requirements – both internally and on-site at the customer
• You present our products to customers, at trade fairs, and as part of sales support
• You take on additional tasks and responsibilities within the technology team (by agreement)

The strengths you bring

• You have a completed engineering degree HF/FH or a similar degree in mechanical engineering or mechatronics (not mandatory but advantageous)
• You have successfully completed vocational training as a polymechanic
• You have manufacturing experience in grinding, grinding applications, or CNC machining (turning, milling, turn-mill)
• You have experience handling mechatronic systems in mechanical engineering
• You are a technically skilled, team-oriented, and flexible personality with creative abilities
• Your strengths include an independent, precise, and reliable working style
• You appear confident – both towards colleagues and customers
• Optional: You have experience with Fanuc or Siemens controls
• Optional: You have good English skills
• Optional: You have already gained experience in cylindrical grinding
