Technology Engineer (a)
Your tasks with us
- You test prototypes (machines and assemblies) in the area of cylindrical grinding
- You test new software solutions (user interface, grinding cycles) in the area of cylindrical grinding, e.g., as part of software releases
- You further develop grinding technologies in close collaboration with suppliers of grinding wheels and dressing tools
- You support the development team in new developments from a user perspective
- You take over troubleshooting as part of the 3rd-level support for current and older generations
- You train sales, process engineering, and customer service regarding technical innovations
- You support test and acceptance grinding of customer parts with higher requirements – both internally and on-site at the customer
- You present our products to customers, at trade fairs, and as part of sales support
- You take on additional tasks and responsibilities within the technology team (by agreement)
The strengths you bring
- You have a completed engineering degree HF/FH or a similar degree in mechanical engineering or mechatronics (not mandatory but advantageous)
- You have successfully completed vocational training as a polymechanic
- You have manufacturing experience in grinding, grinding applications, or CNC machining (turning, milling, turn-mill)
- You have experience handling mechatronic systems in mechanical engineering
- You are a technically skilled, team-oriented, and flexible personality with creative abilities
- Your strengths include an independent, precise, and reliable working style
- You appear confident – both towards colleagues and customers
- Optional: You have experience with Fanuc or Siemens controls
- Optional: You have good English skills
- Optional: You have already gained experience in cylindrical grinding
