Company Description
The Office for Social Services of the Liechtenstein National Administration (www.asd.llv.li) is the government authority responsible for the psychosocial care of the country. We perform statutory tasks within the framework of economic social assistance, rent contributions and premium reductions, child and youth welfare, and the country's basic psychosocial care as well as in the area of equal opportunities. The tasks of the Equal Opportunities Department include: gender equality (women and men as well as LGBTIQ+), migration and integration, disability, and aging.
Job Description
You feel at home in the following areas of activity:
- Planning and coordination of measures to address age-specific issues in cooperation with municipalities, authorities, counseling centers, and those affected
- Management and monitoring of the implementation of the aging strategy: ensuring the implementation and further development of the strategy
- Promotion of exchange and networks through the organization of round tables and/or conferences on aging issues, including public relations
- Establishment of a central coordination office for questions, concerns, and networking of service providers and the coordination offices of the municipalities
- Representation of the interests of older people, promotion of dialogue between generations as well as promotion of innovation and international exchange
- Preparation of reports and statements on social issues and equal opportunity topics, answering inquiries
Qualifications
You are particularly characterized for this position by:
- Completed (specialist) university degree, e.g. in social work, social or humanities sciences, or a comparable education
- Professional experience and further training ideally in the field of aging
- Independent work with pronounced planning and organizational skills
- Communicative and analytical skills
- Flexibility in working hours, participation in off-site appointments
