The Geneva School of Business Administration (Haute Ecole de Gestion Genève) is the largest business school in the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Western Switzerland network (Hautes Ecoles Spécialisées de Suisse Occidentale). It is a practice-oriented public academic institution offering Bachelor’s and Master’s programs designed to train the professionals of tomorrow. The International Business Management department offers a unique Bachelor program taught entirely in English, preparing students for global careers.

Description
- Conduct applied research in international business and strategic management or related areas;
- Obtain research funding from national and/or international funding agencies such as Swiss National Science Foundation, Innosuisse or European agencies, and develop consulting mandates with private sector industry partners;
- Teach one or more of the following subjects (international business, strategic management, corporate strategy, innovation management, responsible management, business ethics) in our Bachelor and Master programs, as well as in continuing education programs;
- Supervise Bachelor and Master thesis;
- Develop outreach activities such as conferences, scientific and academic publications, as well as industry collaborations;
- Perform administrative duties related to teaching and research.
Requirements
- Master degree (or equivalent) in the field of international business, strategic management or related fields, PhD a very important asset;
- Applied research experience, in particular in funding applications (for an appointment at the associate level, proven track record of securing funding for applied research, publications, conducting research projects and managing a research team, as well as of obtaining and performing consulting mandates);
- Teaching experience at Bachelor/Master level, ability to teach in English (department language);
- At least 5 years of non-academic professional experience in an international environment.

- The position of Associate Professor (category 25) is a four-year renewable contract of indefinite duration. If the selected candidate does not meet all the requirements for appointment as an associate professor, they may be offered a fixed-term contract as an assistant professor with conditional tenure (category 23).
