Assistant to Program Management and Study Variant (60%)
University of Teacher Education FHNW, Primary Level Institute
Your tasks:
- Administration of individual study paths in the study variant lateral entry primary level: e.g. in the elective area, within the framework of accompanied career entry, in case of module repetitions
- Support of knowledge management in the study variant lateral entry primary level and in the bachelor's degree program primary level: e.g. at information events and with informational materials
- Content-related and administrative support of frequent concerns of students and teachers at the institute: e.g. regarding study time extensions, subject changes, attendance regulations
- Assistance in creating and maintaining forms, internal instructions, process descriptions, communication guidelines in study operations
Your profile:
- Knowledge of processes and structures as well as familiarity with the practices at a university of applied sciences; possibly experience with studying to become a primary school teacher and/or in the primary school practice field
- Ability and willingness to understand the curriculum and regulations of the primary level program and its study variant; openness to FHNW software and tools as well as reliable MS Office user skills
- Confidence in prioritizing tasks and overview of appointments and deadlines
- Possibility and willingness for annual working hours, i.e. temporal flexibility during peak workload periods in the academic year (according to announcement in the annual plan)
- Confident expression in spoken and written German, communicative skills in dealing with various stakeholders in the educational area of Northwestern Switzerland, e.g. school management, students
