About the job
Your challenges:
As a shunting locomotive driver, you are responsible for shunting and preparing trains. In addition, you take on securing wagons and trains.
As a locomotive driver, you are additionally responsible for freight transport services.
What you should bring:
- Training as a shunting locomotive driver Cat A40 or locomotive driver Cat. B100 or B
- Car driving license mandatory
- Very good German skills as well as confident handling of IT programs (MS Office)
- Willingness for flexible work assignments (shift work / night and weekend shifts)
- Flexible, resilient and solution-oriented personality

WRS Widmer Rail Services AG is a family-run railway company (EVU) operating in the three language regions (German, French, Italian) of Switzerland as well as in Germany, Italy, and Austria. For this purpose, WRS uses its own extensive locomotive fleet, its own shunting capacities, and its own personnel (locomotive drivers and shunters) and, if necessary, also trains them independently. WRS also operates from several locations in all parts of the country to provide its customers with perfect service.
