To complete its team, the Private Law Center is looking for a Graduate Assistant for Prof. Célian Hirsch.
Job Information
Start date: 01.08.2026 or to be agreed
Contract duration: 1 year, renewable 2 x 2 years, maximum 5 years
Work rate: 80%
Workplace: Lausanne Dorigny
Your activities
- 50% of the work rate will be dedicated to writing a doctoral thesis;
- 50% of the work rate will be dedicated to assistantship, namely support for teaching and research tasks, including: preparation of course materials, exam expertise, research work for Professor Hirsch.
The hired person will also have the opportunity to teach practical legal methodology exercises, corresponding to an additional 20% work rate for a total of 100%. For this activity, a bachelor’s degree in Swiss law is desired.
Your profile
• Bachelor or master’s degree in law
• Doctoral thesis project in commercial law
• Interest in commercial law
• Good knowledge of German and English.
