The Reformed Church Community Seuzach-Thurtal is a vibrant church community with around 5,900 members and a diverse range of offerings.

To strengthen our team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a

Social Deacon or Youth Worker 80 - 100 %

with a focus on children, youth, and young adults 

Your areas of responsibility: 

• Further development of attractive and lively offerings for children, youth, and young adults
• Responsibility for the youth service concept and its implementation
• Camp management of the BeachCamp as well as participation in confirmation classes
• Support, promotion, and guidance of voluntary young adults
• Presence on social media and in youth life worlds
• Participation in existing community activities
• Support of the team member in the area of adult and senior offerings

You bring with you:  

• Training in social diaconal or comparable field
• Joy in relationships, communication, and creative design
• Open, encouraging Christian faith
• Experience in youth work
• Member of the Reformed State Church
• Willingness for flexible working hours
• Very good IT user skills
