The position is attached to the Care Directorate, which embodies authority in care matters. Its mission is to guarantee the quality and safety of care within the institution. As such, the Care Directorate oversees all care activities (nursing staff and various health professional groups). To fulfill its mission, it relies on three deputy directorates responsible for transformation in care, professional practices, and interprofessionality.
Job Description
The role of research and implementation officer aims to design, manage, and/or ensure the implementation of care development and research programs in reference to the objectives of the Care Directorate, to define and lead research and implementation projects across all HUG sectors, and to promote the academization of care within the institution.
In the field of research, you actively participate in the hospital's scientific life in the care domain by initiating applied research projects that enable the improvement and development of care. You provide support to caregivers wishing to carry out research projects through advice. Interprofessional and intra-disciplinary collaboration are integral parts of the job description. You contribute to the training of caregivers.
In the field of implementation sciences, you design, manage, and carry out projects in collaboration with nursing managers of departments to promote innovative approaches. As a research officer, you act as a reference and expert by assisting the Care Directorate in deploying the policy of academization of care.
Qualifications
You are a health professional with a doctorate or enrolled in a doctoral program.
You have three years of clinical experience with patients.
You have conducted and published research work in scientific journals.
You are proficient in English (level C1).
You have a network in French-speaking Switzerland in the research field.
You possess excellent knowledge in IT and the use of new technologies in care.
You have teaching experience.
You are organized, personable, and have strong oral and written communication skills.
Experience with various methods, scientific and professional publications.
