An ASSC at the Outpatient Unit of the Addiction Medicine Service
The Addiction Medicine Service of the Psychiatry Department at CHUV is looking for a Community Health and Care Assistant (ASSC) at a 70% activity rate, for a start date on October 1, 2025, or to be agreed upon.
Context
The Addiction Medicine Service (SMA) provides inpatient and outpatient care for adults in the Lausanne region presenting psychiatric disorders and addictions. It also develops research and training activities.
The service includes hospital units located on the Cery site (Prilly) and at the Bugnon hospital campus in Lausanne.
Addiction is a complex disease involving biological, psychological, and social factors. Effective care is based on a medical, psychotherapeutic, and rehabilitation approach, in close collaboration with private practitioners and institutions in the canton of Vaud.
Mission
- You ensure the execution and monitoring of activities delegated to you by the qualified staff
- You carry out measures aimed at preventing the patients' somatic conditions
- You provide technical care such as samples for examination
- You prepare and administer patients' substitution and medication treatments
- You ensure the maintenance of care equipment, furniture, and the patient’s environment
- You stimulate patients' resources based on collected data to preserve their autonomy and independence.
Profile
- You hold a Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a Community Health and Care Assistant and recognition from the Red Cross or Precheck for qualified staff trained abroad, mandatory
- You have knowledge of the Vaud socio-health network
- You have at least 2 years of professional experience as an ASSC
- You possess a driving license, desired
- You master French, both spoken and written
- You have computer and office software skills.
