Finance and Accounting Specialist 90 – 100 %
You are a numbers architect and can handle changes well? Our finance team is responsible for the accounting of the four business areas of WAS. The accounting for the federal government (SECO and BSV) as well as the delegated tasks from the canton are managed on various systems. Our team is facing an exciting transformation process: We will introduce a new ERP system that will fundamentally optimize our work processes. As our new team member, you will take on diverse and responsible tasks in the business areas WAS wira, AK, IV, and WAS Immobilien AG. Your start date is negotiable.
- Together with other specialists, you manage the accounting for the compensation office, IV, unemployment insurance (labor market and unemployment fund), the canton, and WAS Immobilien AG.
- You assist in the preparation of budgets, financial statements, and forecasts.
- You are co-responsible for the payment and posting of salaries and social benefits.
- You ensure liquidity management and cash flow together with other team members.
- You assist in managing the subsidiary ledgers (accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets accounting).
- You participate in working groups and projects and contribute your expertise.
- You have completed a commercial basic education with additional training, e.g., a professional certificate in finance and accounting, or you are currently in training.
- You bring several years of professional experience in finance and accounting and are proficient in annual financial statements.
- You master various Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, and have experience using SAP.
- You actively contribute, shape processes, and approach complex requirements with commitment and solution orientation.
- You are characterized by an independent, responsible, and service-oriented way of working.
