We are looking for an HSE Engineer to join the team, reporting to the RSPP.

The role will involve:

• Carrying out, in collaboration with the Employer, the RSPP, and other involved figures, the risk assessment pursuant to Legislative Decree 81/08 and subsequent amendments for the VPI plant and developing related improvement plans
• Verifying, through periodic inspections, the correct management of regulatory compliance and related deadlines regarding Environment, Hygiene, and Safety at the VPI plant as well as the correct implementation of the standards and procedures provided at the Group level;
• Controlling the correct administrative management of Waste (registration of transport forms and preparation of the annual MUD);
• Ensuring that sampling and analysis interventions of emissions (atmospheric and water) are carried out according to and in compliance with the related authorization requirements
• Preparing EHS indicators as well as the periodic EHS reporting required by the Group
• Collaborating with various departments to promote a safety culture and implement preventive measures in safety and health, according to the safety strategy
• Managing and authorizing work permits, issuing DUVRI and any other documents related to contracts;
• Supporting the Technical department regarding periodic maintenance that impacts safety regulations (firefighting equipment, overhead cranes, etc.);
• Planning SME monitoring, coordinating related maintenance, and communications to authorities as indicated by the SME manual
