IT Engineer (m/f/d)
Location: Zurich, Switzerland
Scope: Part-time or full-time
About us
For over 55 years, the international brand Kieser has stood for health-oriented strength training – evidence-based, effective, and clearly structured. With over 170 own and franchise studios worldwide, we pursue one goal: to make people capable, healthy, and self-determined through targeted strengthening of the musculoskeletal system – at any age.
To strengthen the IT department of the Kieser Group, we are looking for an IT Engineer (m/f/d) for our system headquarters in Zurich starting immediately or by arrangement.
Your mission
As an IT Engineer, you contribute significantly to the smooth operation but above all to the further development of our central IT services. You optimize and automate processes, rethink existing structures, and take on a central role in system administration – including all tasks related to the service desk.
What you achieve
- Actively shape IT architecture
You analyze requirements, develop technical concepts, and define future-proof IT architectures. You rely on scalable structures, modern technologies, and clear standards to strategically further develop our system landscape. Your skills in supplier management will also be crucial. - Implement, integrate, and optimize systems
From rollout to configuration to automation – you bring new systems into productive operation, continuously improve existing setups, and document thoroughly for maximum transparency. Your focus: efficiency, stability, and user-friendliness. - Ensure IT operations and improve support
You take over 2nd level support, recognize patterns in incidents, and sustainably resolve causes. With your systematic approach, you ensure smooth processes and actively contribute to service quality – with modern tools and clear communication. - Automate processes and drive technical innovation
Manual processes are an invitation to automation for you. You develop smart solutions, script workflows, and use tools like PowerShell, Matrix42, or comparable platforms to continuously make IT more efficient. - Firmly control IT governance and security
You maintain our systems, ensure compliance, and implement measures for IT security, data protection, and business continuity – with an eye for detail and a clear understanding of regulatory requirements. - Strengthen collaboration and empower departments
Whether in projects, audits, or technical questions: you are a technical sparring partner and contribute your knowledge purposefully. This way, you support departments in using IT sensibly and securely – instead of just "going along".
Your technical focus
- Business applications: Microsoft 365, Exchange, SharePoint, as well as collaborative office applications.
- Microsoft Azure Entra ID, Intune, Defender
- End devices & workplace management – including maintenance and support for stationary and mobile devices.
- IT consulting & audits: support for internal IT consulting, IT auditing, and IT security auditing.
What to expect from us
- Flexibility that connects: We offer you the possibility to work from home once a week based on full-time employment – for a balanced mix of presence and flexible work.
- Targeted development: We actively support your professional development with training so you can continuously grow and discover new perspectives.
- Provision: Above-average participation in company pension schemes.
- Health as a priority: Use our free Kieser training subscription in all Kieser studios for health strength and a good balance.
- Exclusive benefits: Access to Corporate Benefits ( www.corporate-benefits.de ) and other employee benefits that enrich and appreciate your workday.
- Team spirit & environment: Experience an open "du" culture, flat hierarchies, regular team events, and a centrally located workplace with excellent transport connections.
What defines you
- You have at least four years of professional experience in a comparable IT role and training as a technician HF in computer science, a degree in (business) computer science, or an equivalent qualification – ideally complemented by knowledge in IT service management.
- You are familiar with heterogeneous IT environments. Ideally, you also have experience in a franchise environment.
- Your working style is structured, independent, and solution-oriented. You keep an overview even in complex situations and work precisely.
- Analytical and entrepreneurial thinking are among your strengths – as well as the ability to clearly understand and communicate technical contexts.
- Very good German skills in speaking and writing as well as English skills at B2 level (GER) complete your language profile.
- You convince with your pronounced service orientation, communication skills, teamwork, and a professional appearance with natural assertiveness.
Ready for the next step?
Then we look forward to your application!
