About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive to join our growing sales team in Switzerland.
In this senior role, you will be responsible for driving new business growth by developing and executing strategic sales plans within your territory. You will identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across enterprise accounts, while building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
This position requires a proactive, consultative sales approach and the ability to navigate complex organisations. You’ll work cross-functionally with internal teams - including pre-sales, customer success, and marketing - to deliver world-class solutions that enable customers to accelerate their digital transformation journey.
What you will be doing

Drive new business acquisition across Switzerland, focusing on enterprise-level clients.

Develop and execute a territory plan to consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including C-level executives.

Lead the entire sales cycle — from prospecting, qualification, and solution presentation to negotiation and close.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless customer onboarding and long-term success.

Represent Tricentis at key industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand brand awareness and generate new leads.

Stay current on market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to position Tricentis effectively in the Swiss market.
What you will bring

5–10 years of experience in enterprise software sales, ideally within testing, DevOps, automation, or SaaS solutions.

Demonstrated success in consistently exceeding sales targets and driving new business growth.

Strong understanding of enterprise ecosystems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Salesforce) and DevOps methodologies.

Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence senior stakeholders across technical and business functions.

Strategic mindset with excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.

Experience selling into large and complex organisations with multi-stakeholder decision processes.

Fluency in Swiss German or French, with strong proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
