We are looking for our VOé Multimedia department a:
Multimedia Assistant Installer (M/F)
The multimedia team, composed of 8 technicians and network-multimedia installers and its manager, is looking for a multimedia assistant installer (M/F) to help maintain and develop our own infrastructures (telecom networks, HFC, fiber optics, and CATV) in the Nord Vaudois region.
Your main responsibilities:
- Assisting with new connections or infrastructure modification civil engineering work using a backhoe and pickaxe excavator
- Installation and assembly of cabinets
- Pulling coaxial and fiber optic cables
- Blowing fiber optics
- Tube detection
- Connector assembly
- Participation in building distribution installations (IDI – coax) and in-house installations (fiber), including work on BEP and OTO
- On-call service after training
Your skills and experience:
- Good manual skills with general construction knowledge, ideally cable laying technique is a plus.
- Good physical condition, endurance, and enjoyment of outdoor work
- Category B driving license. Trailer license is a plus
- Fluent spoken French, good written knowledge
- Motivated, flexible, and good team spirit
