Your new role
In this interesting and responsible position, you will complement the existing team of the Violence Protection Department in the area of threat and risk management. Your tasks include identifying and assessing threatening persons and situations using risk assessment tools as well as initiating appropriate measures. In threat situations, you take on an important coordinating role between the frontline police, involved authorities, and affected persons and handle comprehensive case management. In addition, organizing and conducting threat and endangered person interviews as well as preparing the necessary reports related to your cases are part of your job profile. Furthermore, you advise internal and external stakeholders and may be deployed for lectures in the field of violence prevention.
This position is for you if you
- have several years of professional experience as a police officer.
- ideally already have experience in a comparable role or are willing to further educate yourself in this field.
- work in a structured, methodical, and goal-oriented manner and are able to systematically record, analyze, and process complex cases.
- are characterized by analytical and networked thinking.
- have very good oral and written communication skills as well as pronounced communication abilities.
- count resilience and high emotional intelligence among your strengths.
- appreciate and promote interdisciplinary collaboration with other organizations;
- have an impeccable reputation and consider confidentiality and reliability to be a matter of course.
