Requirements Engineer Senior 80 - 100%COMPETENT AND NETWORKED THINKING
The Secondary School and Vocational Education Office (MBA) is the competence and service center for vocational education, grammar schools, higher vocational education, and continuing education in the canton of Zurich. We support and supervise secondary schools, vocational schools, providers of preparatory vocational years, and training companies.
The Digital Service Center Secondary II provides services in this environment to support administrative and pedagogical-didactic processes for around 60,000 users in over 40 cantonal schools.
We are looking immediately or by arrangement for an employee in the Support and Operation area as a Requirements Engineer with a workload of 80-100%, limited until the end of June 2029.
Your area of responsibility
In this exciting role, you are responsible for identifying and analyzing the needs of vocational and secondary schools regarding the ICT system and application landscape. You develop suitable solution approaches and support the schools in transitioning to new ICT systems. Your tasks include defining technical, organizational, and security-related requirements as well as close collaboration with the Office for Informatics and other external service providers.
You take on technical responsibility in projects and actively participate in the design of ICT services and applications to support the cantonal secondary schools. In addition, you engage in projects to optimize, further develop, and simplify the IT service portfolio.
Your profile
For this position, you have a degree as an IT specialist or business informatics specialist (HF/FH) or an equivalent qualification. Additional training in requirements engineering as well as certifications such as ITIL or HERMES are advantageous. You work in a structured and analytical manner and feel comfortable in a constantly changing educational environment. A service- and customer-oriented attitude, teamwork skills, and organizational talent characterize you as well as your familiarity with complex system environments. Knowledge of processes in the education sector is helpful.
