About the job
Accountant 60%The Statthalteramt Uster is a decentralized cantonal administrative unit responsible for numerous tasks in the Uster district with around 150,000 inhabitants. The focus is on the prosecution of offenses.
To complement our team in accounting, we are looking for an accountant 60% starting June 1, 2026, or by agreement.
Your tasks
- Collection of claims up to and including loss certificate management
- Assistance in managing financial accounting and accounting according to cantonal guidelines
- Assistance in preparing monthly and annual financial statements, budgets, and statistics, ensuring the internal control system (ICS)
- Telephone and written contact internally/externally
- Contact person for installment agreements and payment processing
- Creating orders for the enforcement of substitute penalties
- Correspondence related to the enforcement of penalties
- Performing administrative tasks
Your profile
- Completed commercial training, preferably with further education in accounting/bookkeeping
- Several years of professional experience
- Knowledge and experience in the application of the Debt Enforcement and Bankruptcy Act (SchKG) is an advantage
- Good IT user skills (especially Word and Excel)
- Friendly and goal-oriented behavior
- Quick comprehension as well as precise, efficient, and independent working style
- Ability to work in a team
