The Business Unit Operations produces parts for all Hamilton companies, from injection-molded parts to pipette tips for liquid handling to metal and plastic parts. Our goal is to produce as many parts in-house as possible. This keeps us agile, independent, and efficient.

This is what you can achieve:

The Shipping department is responsible for the timely, high-quality, and compliant dispatch of goods for all business units at the Bonaduz and Domat/Ems locations. As an important part of the entire shipping process, Shipping makes a decisive contribution to customer satisfaction and delivery performance.

As Team Leader, you take on the personnel and operational overall responsibility for this area. You lead your team in a goal-oriented manner, consistently develop structures and processes, and ensure efficient and transparent handling of all shipping activities.

Professional and personnel leadership of a team of 12 employees as well as ensuring smooth and timely goods dispatch

Responsibility for achieving targets in the assigned area of responsibility

Forward-looking resource planning and targeted development of employees

Analysis and continuous optimization of shipping processes along the entire value chain according to lean management principles

Assuming responsibility as Air Cargo Security Officer for compliance with and further development of the air security program, including training, review, and coordination with the responsible inspection authority

Ensuring as an internal contact person that the packaging of dangerous goods in the shipping process is carried out professionally and in compliance with regulations

This is what you bring:

Completed apprenticeship as a logistician with further logistics training

Several years of professional experience in a comparable position combined with leadership experience of medium-sized teams

Solid knowledge in goods dispatch and shipping, ideally complemented by experience in air security and dangerous goods

Experience in process optimization and lean management

High social competence, clear communication, and pronounced organizational skills

Assertive, decisive, and resilient

Fluent German skills in spoken and written form (at least B2 - C1)
