The ISME (Swiss Institute of Equine Medicine) of the Vetsuisse Faculty of the University of Bern operates a reference clinic on the Bern site for horses and other equids, as well as a veterinary clinic including a veterinary service, a reproduction center, and a fitness and rehabilitation station on the Avenches site. The team consists of about 60 employees. The position is to be filled immediately or by agreement at the Avenches site.
What the job entailsIn this versatile role, you will take on essential tasks in purchasing, stock management, and administrative support. Your main duties will be:
- Order and stock management
- Administrative tasks, reception management
- Collaboration between various departments
What you bring - Commercial employee CFC, AMV or equivalent training or similar education
- Experience in ordering, invoice processing, and stock management (an asset)
- Good oral knowledge of French and German
- English skills desired
- Good command of MS Office products and willingness to learn our internal software
- Enjoy working in a team and customer contact
- Autonomy and flexibility in work
- Knowledge of the equestrian world (an asset)
