Assistant at the Transit Center
Migration and Civil Law Office | 60-80% | Davos Wolfgang or Litzirüti
Currently, the Migration and Civil Law Office has 230 employees active at more than 20 locations and is responsible for all tasks related to migration, in particular for issuing and revoking permits, placement and assistance, carrying out removals, as well as integration. In addition, the office issues identity documents to Swiss citizens, processes naturalizations, and supervises civil status authorities. The main office of the Migration and Civil Law Office is located in Chur.
For the Migration and Civil Law Office, we are looking for an assistant for the asylum sector transit center in Davos Wolfgang or Litzirüti starting January 1, 2026, or by agreement.
Tasks
- Assistance and support in everyday life matters
- Handling administrative tasks and managing electronic files
- Ensuring smooth operation of the busy center activities
- Documentation and preparation of reports related to relevant events and developments at the center
- Occasional on-call service outside of working hours
What we expect from you
- Completed basic training in the administrative, social, or medical field
- Empathy and ability to cope with stressful situations involving different cultures and life stories
- Independent, goal-oriented, and team-oriented working method
- Patience, flexibility, and assertiveness
- Foreign language skills and a category B driving license are an advantage
