About the job

We are looking for a flexible and motivated cook to start immediately or by arrangement

The restaurant «Dübi ICE» is located at the ice rink in Dübendorf and is a popular sports and excursion destination for cyclists and walkers.

The serviced restaurant area has 50 seats and a terrace with 76 seats with a direct view of the Glatt river and the children's playground. The self-service area has 70 seats and a terrace with 60 seats with a direct view of the outdoor ice rink and the Glatt. In addition, the sports facility also has an 18-hole mini-golf course.

The restaurant offers a market-fresh à la Carte kitchen, accompanied by seasonal specialties, fine lunch menus, and a take-away offer that provides quick and uncomplicated catering.

Job Description

You enjoy cooking with fresh products, are skilled in menu and à la Carte cooking, and like to work independently in a team.

• Production and preparation of fresh à la Carte dishes
• Support and representation of the head chef
• Compliance with and monitoring of hygiene and occupational safety regulations
• Assistance with menu planning and ordering
• Completion of cleaning tasks in the kitchen and storage areas

Requirements

After your apprenticeship, you have already gained several years of experience, experience as a sole cook is an advantage, and you are now looking for a new, exciting challenge.

• Completed training as a cook EFZ
• Experience in à la Carte cooking
• Reliable, independent, prompt, and efficient working style
• Flexible and resilient personality with a neat appearance and good manners
• Good German language skills in spoken and written form
