Job Description
As a coordinator of vocational training programs, you join a team committed to implementing the institution's internship and apprenticeship policy. Your mission is to manage vocational training programs within the various hospital structures and support young people in successfully completing their training paths.
In this role, you oversee the entire recruitment process of apprentices in various professions such as administrative, technical, and care roles, in close collaboration with departments, hierarchies, and external partners.
Your operational role involves identifying available apprenticeship places, analyzing applications, conducting structured interviews, and ensuring equal opportunities for each candidate. You also manage commitments, contracts, and the proper integration of young people within the teams.
Throughout the apprenticeship, you establish a relationship of trust with the trainees and their trainers. You are the reference person regarding vocational training regulations. You play a key role in preventing and managing delicate situations by encouraging dialogue and proposing appropriate solutions. When necessary, you provide support to apprentices in difficulty by coordinating assistance measures with HR managers and departmental hierarchies.
Your overall vision and collaborative spirit promote smooth and adapted exchanges with your internal and external partners. In a continuous improvement approach, you propose development avenues, identify emerging professions, and contribute to modernizing apprentice recruitment methods. You work closely with your team to harmonize processes and practices related to vocational training.
To ensure training quality, you lead the network of apprenticeship trainers, conduct training actions, and regularly evaluate the effectiveness of the program. You ensure that all stakeholders are informed about apprenticeship issues and best practices to implement.
As an ambassador of apprenticeship and the employer brand, you actively monitor the evolution of professions and represent HUG at various events, commissions, and working groups related to vocational training in companies. You also produce reports and monitoring indicators that allow reliable management of your activity.
As part of the Leadership, Recruitment, and Career Management Service and the Human Resources Department, you actively contribute to the development of good HR practices and participate in institutional projects related to training and support.

You have at least five years of experience in a similar role and/or related to career guidance, support, or training. You master the fundamentals of vocational training as well as Swiss regulations in this area.
Your HR knowledge enables you to advise both young people and professionals who support them daily in the field. Your empathy and interpersonal skills allow you to conduct structured interviews, assess candidates’ motivations, and manage sometimes complex individual situations.
You are recognized for your collaborative spirit and excellent oral and written communication skills. You pay great attention to adapting your communication style to your interlocutors and work in a network with transparency and partnership dynamics. You have a strong interest in the hospital environment and its professions.
Thanks to your organization, methodology, and rigor, you can manage ambitious deadlines as well as periods of increased activity.
