Job description
As part of a project to migrate and secure product data to Windchill, we are looking for a PLM Technical Data Manager to support the transition between existing systems and the new PLM environment.
You will be at the heart of the challenges of structuring and quality of technical data in a demanding industrial environment (microtechnology / mechanics).
🔥 Main activities:
Prepare and execute data migrations (retrofit) to the PLM Windchill tool
Extract, clean, transform and load data (CSV, imports/exports)
Control and ensure the conformity of migrated data
Update CAD documents (models, plans…)
Execute and improve migration procedures
Participate in migration tests (UAT), pilots and validation of acceptance criteria
Define and contribute to the migration strategy
Support business teams in understanding and using technical data
🎯 Profile sought
- You have a technical background in microtechnology or mechanics.
You have about three years of experience in an industrial environment.
You have experience or a strong interest in PLM environments, ideally Windchill.
You understand well the interactions between PLM, CAD, ERP and MES systems.
You master Excel at an advanced level and are comfortable handling CSV files as well as data import/export processes.
You demonstrate rigor, good analytical skills and a strong orientation towards data quality.
Knowledge of collaborative tools such as Monday, Confluence or Jira is a plus.
