FTTH Fiber Optic Installer "In-house"

We are looking for an FTTH Fiber Optic Installer "In-house" for our branch in Romanel-sur-Lausanne, for a 100% workload.

• Performing optical splices and measurements with OTDR
• Installation and commissioning of customer equipment (BEP, OTO, etc.)
• Installation of OTO sockets in apartments
• Reading plans and diagrams for network installation
• Installation and connection of new sleeves
• Intervention and maintenance on existing sleeves (repair, reconfiguration, network adaptation)
• Quality control of interventions according to Swisscom standards
• Compliance with safety standards and current procedures

• Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as an electrician installer, assembly electrician, or equivalent training in telecommunications network construction
• Experience in the fiber optic field in Switzerland is essential
• Knowledge of the Swisscom FTTH network and its specificities
• Proficiency with measuring tools (OTDR, photometer)
• Good adaptability and teamwork skills
• Good stress resistance and flexibility in working hours
• Strict adherence to quality and safety standards
• Autonomous organization of on-site interventions
• Effective communication with clients and other stakeholders
• Regular progress reporting to the technical manager
• Organizational clarity and sense of priorities
• Driving license B mandatory
