Your Tasks
- Accompany patients in their daily lives and support them on their way to a crime-free life within the framework of reference care, also outside the facility such as during shopping accompaniment or court appointments
- Ensure comprehensive nursing care of patients in forensic psychiatry within the framework of the reference care system according to internal nursing standards
- Appreciative and responsible handling of mentally ill offenders
- Professional communication with relatives, the team, and management
- Shaping forensic processes, for example in the context of patient trials in cooperation with other professional groups in the multiprofessional team
Your Profile
- Completed training in health and nursing care, curative education, elderly care, or as an educator (m/f/d) or generalist training as well as nursing assistants (m/f/d) or nursing helpers (m/f/d)
- Bringing in your own interests and hobbies, for example in the form of nursing groups, is welcome
- A high level of social competence and communication skills as well as teamwork and reliability
- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor towards patients and their relatives
- Organizational skills, enthusiasm for innovation, willingness to cooperate, and coordination skills, also in collaboration with other professional groups and departments
- Identification with the goals of forensic psychiatry and the nursing and educational service
- Willingness to work in shifts, possibly with individual working time arrangements
