Industrial Systems Project Manager 80 – 100% (m/f/d)
Tasks
- Be responsible for biomass combustion system construction projects in the industrial sector
(up to a maximum thermal power of 8 MW) in France. - Ensure communication with clients, client representatives, and engineering offices, including visits.
- Technically master the projects, including the design of plant assemblies.
- Order all assemblies as well as parts from suppliers, in collaboration with the purchasing department.
- Prepare PID diagrams and manage project-specific controls and risk assessments.
- Plan and supervise the installation and commissioning of the systems.
- Manage the financial part of the project while respecting the contribution margin and maintain continuous cost overview.
- Execute the project and carry out system acceptance with the client or engineering office.
- Travel 1 to 3 days per week.
Requirements
- Higher technical education in mechanical engineering, energy technology, or thermal engineering.
- Experience as a project manager, especially in plant construction, or in other areas such as research and development.
- Additional training in electrical or mechanical engineering, if necessary.
- Experience in combustion technology, hot water, and steam process fields is an advantage.
- Proficiency in French, English, and/or German, both written and spoken.
- Skills in CAD and ERP as well as analytical thinking and networking.
- Structured and efficient working method, ability to work in a team, good manners, and pleasant assertiveness.
- Communicative, customer-oriented, convincing, resilient, flexible, committed.
