Clinical Study Manager at the Institute of Pathology
The Institute of Pathology of the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology (DMLP) is looking for a clinical study manager to strengthen its laboratory and ensure the missions entrusted to it.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Clinical Pathology Institute brings together more than 100 employees and fulfills the missions of diagnosis, teaching, and research. It participates in clinical investigations conducted at CHUV and cooperates with clinical researchers on institutional and industry projects in compliance with current regulations and good clinical practices.
Mission
- You ensure the scientific and administrative management of clinical studies
- You are responsible for planning and coordinating clinical activities
- You support the biobank manager in coordinating and operationally managing related activities
- You contribute to the smooth operation of the biobank and clinical studies.
Profile
- You hold a university degree at Master or Doctorate level in biomedical, biological sciences or equivalent, accompanied by a Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certificate
- You have proven experience in clinical research and project management
- You have a perfect knowledge of the Swiss legislation applicable to clinical research (LRH)
- You have good oral and written knowledge of English
- You are comfortable with common computer tools and have the adaptability skills necessary to use new software
- You are a proactive, versatile, conscientious, and dynamic person, with good communication and adaptation skills and enjoy working in a team.
Depending on your profile, the salary class will be between level 11 and 12 and the job description may be adapted.
