To complete its team and given the development of activities within the Marketing, Sales and Communication (MVC) domain, the General Management is opening a competition for its legal department for the position of
Commercial Law Lawyer
Your mission
You will advise, under the supervision of the head of the legal department, the Presidency, the General Management and the governing bodies of TPG on all legal matters which may also lead to a proposal to modify the company’s strategy, objectives and processes. You will ensure the company’s legal compliance and provide advice aligned with the interests of its leaders.
Your main responsibilities
• Provide enhanced legal support to the MVC domain in managing commercial files (B2B, B2G, B2C) and partnerships, advising teams and anticipating legal issues related to the domain’s and company’s strategy.
• Monitor legal developments in legislation, regulations, case law and doctrine, particularly in the transport sector, with commercial impact.
• Manage litigation and pre-litigation files and provide legal advice on customer disputes.
• Draft, adapt and secure contracts, general conditions, regulations (including contests), service instructions and other legal documents, ensuring the protection of the company’s interests.
• Conduct legal research to meet the domain’s needs and strengthen the company’s strategic position.
• Act as a legal expert in meetings with third parties (clients, partners), clearly present the company’s legal position and defend its interests.
• Support project managers on legal aspects in the design and deployment of multimodal projects, and contribute to commissions, working groups and internal training on legal topics and best practices.
Your profile
• Master’s degree in Swiss law, ideally complemented by a lawyer’s certificate or additional legal training,
• minimum 3 years of professional experience in commercial law, acquired in a company, law firm or administration,
• very good knowledge of federal and cantonal laws applicable to TPG’s activities, as well as relevant case law; knowledge in data protection and intellectual property is an asset,
• excellent legal drafting, analytical and synthesis skills, with good negotiation abilities and a rigorous mindset,
• communication skills and ability to simplify complex concepts, team spirit, diplomacy, loyalty and strict respect for confidentiality rules, with an interest in marketing and communication,
• good command of IT tools, organizational skills, speed, open-mindedness; good knowledge of English and German is an asset.
