Legal Staff in HEKS Legal Protection, Hourly Wage
HEKS stands for equal rights and equal opportunities. HEKS takes on legal representation in accelerated and extended asylum procedures in the Eastern Switzerland region and in 10 cantons on behalf of the State Secretariat for Migration (SEM).
For our legal representation pool, we are looking for committed individuals immediately or by arrangement for assignments in Altstätten SG and Zurich as
These are your main tasks:
- Accompanying applicants to interviews at the SEM
- Additional tasks as needed and of interest, e.g., preparatory discussions with applicants
Ideally, you bring the following:
- Law studies (BLaw or MLaw)
- Interest in asylum and immigration law issues
- Strong communication skills and sensitivity in dealing with people from different cultures
- Foreign language skills are an advantage
- Reliable working style
- Independence and high resilience
