- Events: Apprenticeship kickoff, Chiefs for a Week, special SV specialist courses, apprenticeship graduation ceremony
- Salary: 1st year CHF 1,020, 2nd year: CHF 1,300
- 13th monthly salary

The SV Group is a leading gastronomy and hotel management group based in Dübendorf near Zurich. The group operates in several business areas: restaurants for companies and schools, hotels with own brands as well as other renowned brands as franchisee, public restaurants with innovative concepts, as well as gastronomic delivery service and catering. The SV Group employs around 5,800 people, of which 4,000 are in Switzerland.
The SV Group traces back to the non-profit organization "Swiss Association for Soldiers' Welfare" founded in 1914. Else Züblin-Spiller established soldiers' lounges nationwide and served balanced and affordable meals there. The founder's idealistic values are continued today by the SV Foundation. At the Novartis Campus in Basel, our host team with 120 employees spoils around 2,000 guests daily. The "foodtower" including "coffee-al forno" offers space for 1,500 guests with its various restaurants. There are also two kiosks ("Pic'n Go" & "386"), two coffee bars, and two serviced restaurants. In the "Bistro 5" restaurant and the associated guest rooms "au Ciel," we spoil our guests with à la carte creations and market-fresh cuisine. In the "Visitor Café" as well as in the coffee bar "BaRguette," we offer our guests fine coffees and snacks from our in-house production. The operation has its own patisserie, which supplies not only the campus but also a variety of other SV Group-operated establishments daily. Through the in-house catering offer, it is possible to order snacks and drinks for meetings or aperitifs. Regular company events as well as special occasions for up to 3,000 people are held. Working hours from Monday to Friday between 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., depending on the duty roster. Special and evening shifts depending on workload.
