Operator Varistor Production 80 - 100% (m/f/d)

About the Position

As an Operator in Varistor Production at Hitachi Energy at the Wettingen site, you are a central part of our production. You are responsible for setting up and operating manufacturing equipment for the production of metal oxide varistors and ensure that our products meet the highest quality, safety, and process standards. Thanks to your experience, you keep an overview even in case of deviations, analyze causes, and actively support the stability and continuous improvement of our production processes.

What You Can Achieve

• Setting up, operating, and monitoring various production machines for manufacturing metal oxide varistors

• Careful and quality-conscious execution of all relevant process and work steps

• Monitoring production processes as well as early detection and analysis of deviations

• Performing quality controls and ensuring product conformity according to specifications

• Documenting production and process values in the designated systems

• Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations (HSE)

• Active support in optimizing workflows and continuous improvements

• Ensuring order and cleanliness in the work area according to 5S principles

What You Bring

• Completed technical or manual vocational training (e.g., production mechanic, automation technician, machine operator, or comparable)

• Several years of experience in an industrial production environment or machine operation

• Good technical understanding and confident handling of production and process equipment

• Structured, reliable, and quality-oriented working style

• Teamwork skills, sense of responsibility, and independent working style

• Good German language skills in spoken and written form
