In the finance department, we are looking for a dynamic personality with a lot of drive as of March 1, 2026, or by arrangement, as
Head of Accounting (80 - 100 %)
- Personnel, organizational, and professional leadership of a five-member team
- Responsibility for the entire financial accounting of the political municipality (including school)
- Coordination, execution, and preparation of the financial and task plan, budget, and annual financial statement
- Advising authorities and administrative offices on financial matters
- Participation in strategic financial planning and implementation of municipal council decisions
- Management of the insurance portfolio and liquidity management
- Participation in and leadership of projects
- Further education in finance (CAS public finance and taxes, federal specialist certificate in finance and accounting, or similar further education)
- Several years of experience in finance, ideally in a public administration
- Structured, independent, and service-oriented working style
- Strengths-based working: You recognize potential and promote your team
- Very good IT user skills (MS Office and ideally Abraxas software FiS)
- Independent, responsible, and varied tasks with plenty of scope for creativity

This position is classified in salary grade 19. The salary ranges between CHF 99,000.00 and CHF 130,000.00 (100%) depending on education, professional experience, and skills.
