The Road Traffic Office is responsible for admitting vehicles, boats as well as drivers, and also for periodically inspecting vehicles and boats, issuing administrative measures against unreliable drivers, and imposing and collecting traffic fees.
At the Road Traffic Office / Department of Justice, Security and Health, we are looking for a traffic expert for Chur starting September 1, 2026, or by agreement.
- As a traffic expert for vehicle and driver inspections, you will strengthen our technical team
- You will conduct theoretical and practical driver exams
- You will check whether vehicles have the technical qualification
- You have completed training as an automotive mechatronics technician, agricultural machinery mechanic, or construction machinery mechanic
- You are at least 25 years old and have professional experience of a few years
- This activity requires great responsibility, the ability to handle pressure, and sensitivity
- You have good communication skills, enjoy making decisions, and appreciate direct contact with customers
- You are interested in modern traffic topics and are ready for professional development
- Short commute and customer-oriented attitude qualify you
- Good knowledge of German – knowledge of Italian is an advantage
- You have held a Swiss category B driving license for at least 5 years
