Associate psychologist at the Specialized Liaison Psychiatry Unit
The Specialized Liaison Psychiatry Unit (UPLS) is looking for an associate psychologist with a workload between 50%-60% on a permanent contract, starting March 1, 2026.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The CHUV Liaison Psychiatry Service provides care for adult patients of all ages suffering from somatic illness and presenting associated, consequent, or pre-existing psychological/psychiatric distress.
Mission
- You provide outpatient clinical activity (assessments, evaluations, groups, psychotherapeutic follow-ups)
- You participate in teaching in the field of the somatic unit and interface with liaison psychiatry
- You supervise assistant psychologists.
Gender dysphoria:
- You ensure the initial evaluation and psychological support follow-up of the medicalized gender transition of patients concerned with transgender issues
- You provide psychiatric liaison activity with other involved specialties
- You participate in joint interviews with patients' families within the consultation.
Intensive care:
- You lead and manage support groups for relatives of patients who have stayed in the resuscitation or intensive care unit
- You organize the groups and document the activity.
ENT:
- You perform the evaluation of patients suffering from tinnitus within the framework of a joint medical-psychological consultation.
Neurorehabilitation:
- You ensure the initial evaluation and psychological support follow-up of patients with neurological disorders
- You provide psychiatric liaison activity.
Profile
- You hold a master's degree in psychology or an equivalent qualification
- You have a FSP specialization title in psychotherapy
- You have very good knowledge of psychopathology
- Ideally, you have experience as a senior psychologist
- You possess knowledge in the field of liaison psychiatry.
