HVAC Design Engineer (M/F)
Placed under the direct authority of the Service Manager and based in Prilly, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
Your tasks
- You carry out the technical development of an HVAC "project" for a building or installation:
- You propose a comprehensive technical solution,
- You create schematic diagrams and size the equipment and networks,
- You write authorization requests and technical specifications,
- You establish the cost price of the estimated budget from the preliminary design to the pricing of the tender documents,
- You ensure the follow-up of the offer and additional requests with the client,
- You manage interfaces between departments and any co-contractors to successfully complete your study,
- You are responsible for organizing your study and respecting deadlines for document submission or offer delivery,
- You are the privileged contact for the client during the study and pricing phase.
- You ensure the handover to the project manager for execution.
- You prepare quotes directly upon client request, ranging from a small installation modification to a complete new concept proposal,
- You mainly work in the industrial sector,
- You prepare bids for private or public tenders and are able to propose alternative technical solutions,
- You ensure the handover of commercial files to the project managers,
- You work on multiple subjects simultaneously,
- You know and comply with professional standards and regulations and provide support to operational teams,
- Based in Prilly, you are expected to handle projects throughout the French-speaking cantons.
Your profile
- Graduated from a higher education in HVAC engineering or equivalent, you have at least 3 years of experience in HVAC design studies in Switzerland.
- Your analytical and synthesis skills as well as your rigor allow you to size and price with precision.
- You are capable of managing several projects simultaneously.
- You enjoy going on site to understand the operation of installations and propose modifications.
- You stand out through your team spirit, initiative, and client orientation.
- Finally, you have excellent computer skills.
