Safety Engineer / Noise Protection Specialist

• Conducting plan approval and assessment procedures for industrial and commercial enterprises
• Planning and implementation of occupational safety and system controls
• Advising companies, issuing permits, and monitoring working and rest time regulations
• Assessment of noise situations, conducting measurements, ordering measures
• Handling noise complaints and collaborating on noise registers and action plans
• Representing the office in regional and national expert committees
• Maintaining contacts with internal and external partners

• Technical or manual basic training with further education as a safety engineer
• Professional experience in the economy and good technical understanding
• Interest in legal issues
• Confident, trustworthy appearance and strong communication skills
• Solution-oriented, decisive, and team player
• Fluent German in spoken and written form
• Connection to the canton of Thurgau and willingness to work in the field with own vehicle
