The Office for Debt Enforcement and Bankruptcy of the Canton of Thurgau, with its five district debt enforcement offices and the bankruptcy office, is a central service provider within the Cantonal Administration of Thurgau.
The office employs around 100 staff, apprentices, and interns in the two specialist areas. The Debt Enforcement Office District Kreuzlingen is responsible for carrying out all debt enforcement procedures according to the provisions of the Debt Enforcement and Bankruptcy Act (SchKG) within the district of Kreuzlingen.
To complement the enforcement team, we are looking for a service-oriented personality for the Debt Enforcement Office District Kreuzlingen as of March 1, 2026, or by agreement as
After thorough training, you will independently take over the processing of legal debt enforcement procedures in the areas of seizures, attachments, and retentions. This includes internal case processing as well as fieldwork with all associated tasks. In your daily work, you will regularly have contact (in person, by phone, and in writing) with debtors, creditors, employers, authorities, etc.
You are a good fit for us if you:
- have completed a commercial or legal basic education or an equivalent training/continuing education and have already gained professional experience.
- preferably already have knowledge in the area of debt enforcement law or are willing to further educate yourself in this field.
- work independently, precisely, and efficiently.
- are skilled in dealing with people in difficult situations.
- are able to maintain a correct but firm approach with our clients.
- possess assertiveness and consider discretion a matter of course.
- have an interest in legal issues.
- hold a category B driving license (an e-fleet vehicle is available at the location).
