Main tasks
- Handling policy and regulatory issues and collaborating on legislative projects of FINMA and the federal administration
- Managing inquiries within the framework of official consultations (coordination of statements, deadline monitoring, evaluations)
- Responsibility for central reporting of FINMA's strategic specialist projects (including preparation of key figures and status reports)
- Preparation and processing of presentations and reports for the executive board, the board of directors, and other stakeholders
- Ensuring project governance, tracking tasks and deadlines, and quality assurance of project documentation
- Taking minutes in complex, interdisciplinary meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Close cooperation with the areas responsible for supervisory, licensing, and enforcement activities at FINMA
- Development and maintenance of internal communication regarding tasks and processes
Profile
- University degree or equivalent education with a focus on public management, political science, economics or law, communication, or related fields (e.g., MAS in administrative law, Master in Management and Law)
- Professional experience in the financial industry, relevant associations, or administration (preferably in a staff function)
- At least 5 years of experience in project management, ideally in the public sector or regulated environments
- Excellent communication skills – you convey complex content clearly and understandably
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills as well as a high degree of initiative and problem-solving competence
- Team-oriented, structured, and resilient personality with a flair for interdisciplinary collaboration
- Confident oral and written German skills (C2) and good French skills (B2)
