We are looking for an intern in the field of industrial image processing to complement our global team and bring fresh perspectives, new ideas, and curiosity to our unit.
What is this position about?
Do you want to actively participate in exciting projects in industrial image processing?
Are you interested in connecting real experiments with cameras, software, and AI?
Do you want to experience how real industrial solutions arise from data and images?
In this internship, you will work close to practice and gain deep insight into modern image processing and artificial intelligence.
What tasks will you take on?
You will:
- contribute to the design of system components.
- conduct experiments with new hardware and software components.
- plan, implement, and evaluate experiments with camera systems.
- apply and critically evaluate classical image analysis methods.
- train, test AI models, and compare their results.
What do we expect from you?
You:
- are studying physics, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering, ideally with a focus on measurement technology or robotics.
- are in an advanced stage of your studies from the 5th semester onwards or have already completed your studies.
- have basic knowledge in optics and image processing and possess very good Python skills; knowledge in C# and CAD is an advantage.
- communicate confidently in German and English.
- work carefully and independently and bring a high willingness to learn.
