R&D Process Engineer in Die and Wire Bonding (a) Zurich City

Microdul AG in Zurich City specializes in high-quality microelectronics with around 100 employees and three business areas: Modules, Semiconductors, and Thick Film. Our core competence lies in the development and production of miniaturized electronic circuits, realized in close collaboration with our customers - mainly in medical technology. For the process development department, we are looking for a new team member by agreement.

• Development, implementation, and optimization of assembly processes in the area of die and wire bonding in close cooperation with the development and production team
• Process qualification and improvement of process stability through the application of new approaches
• Statistical process control (SPC) and integration of processes into the manufacturing workflow
• Error analysis, yield and throughput time optimization
• Process documentation and operator training
• Monitoring production processes and solving production problems
• Varied tasks from desk work to practical work on production equipment
• Leading technology projects together with our customers
• Environmental and chemical responsibility

• MSc in Engineering (MSE) or a related technical discipline
• Process engineer with more than 2 years of experience in die and wire bonding preferred
• Structured approach to problem-solving, experience and knowledge in statistics
• Knowledge of common error analysis methods
• Good German and English skills (or willingness to learn both languages)
• Hands-on, solution-oriented, and proactive
• Very good communication skills
• Independent working style in a demanding environment
