- SFFN98
- The SFFN acts in favor of sustainable management of natural areas. It is responsible for the coordinated application of legislation on wildlife, forests and nature, the management of renewable natural resources, public information, and support to authorities on topics under its responsibility.
- You participate in the management of the district and are fully committed to the sustainable management of the forests of the Neuchâtel Littoral. In collaboration with district foresters and representatives of the owners, you plan and implement silvicultural work in public forests. You ensure the strict application of forest legislation while integrating other current environmental policies and regulations. In this context, you also assume forest policing tasks. Finally, you work closely with the cantonal forest engineer, particularly for handling files related to forest conservation.
- You hold a degree as an EPF or HES forest engineer, or a master's degree in environmental sciences with a specialization in forest and landscape management, or an equivalent qualification. Initial practical experience is an asset for this position. You have skills in human and financial resource management and are accustomed to monitoring forest subsidies. Convinced by a multifunctional, adaptive, and sustainable approach to forests, you actively commit to its implementation. Equipped with a dynamic, creative, and communicative personality, you appreciate teamwork and demonstrate good organizational skills. Your fine understanding of ecological, economic, and technical realities allows you to propose concrete and realistic solutions. You hold a category B driving license.
