About the job
In this role, you will strengthen our methodological focus on Applied Econometrics. You will be involved in at least one of our research priorities: regional development, labor market and social policy, or energy economics. In doing so, you will acquire, design, and lead research projects on economic policy issues. You will work with statistical and empirical-economic methods and contribute to the further development of data-driven policy design and business development (e.g., in the operation and further development of our Swiss Regional Economic / Swiss REco Dashboard). Together as a team, you will tackle complex issues and develop well-founded solutions for our practice partners. Additionally, you will be involved in teaching and convey economics and statistics topics in our bachelor's degree programs.

Your profile
- Master's degree in economics or a related field (PhD advantageous)
- Solid knowledge of statistics, econometrics, and handling large datasets
- Proficient with R, Stata, and/or Python
- Teaching experience and didactic training (advantageous)
- Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
