The position is attached to the Department of Women, Children and Adolescents, which aims to provide quality care tailored to the needs of women at every stage of their lives and to the health problems faced by newborns, children, and adolescents from birth up to the age of 16. It works on the development of cutting-edge services and specialty competence centers.
The general pediatrics service deals with the health problems of newborns, children, and adolescents until the end of their growth and contributes to health maintenance. It also ensures the coordination and postgraduate training of pediatricians.
Job Description
As a psychologist, you provide consultation care for children and adolescents aged 5 to 18 in various clinical situations: chronic pain, chronic diseases, functional disorders, sleep disorders, fear of medical care, stress, and emotional disorders.
You use medical hypnosis as the main therapeutic tool, in connection with other support approaches available within the institution.
You work closely with a multidisciplinary team composed of pediatricians, nurses, psychologists, child psychiatrists, and other professionals involved in the overall care of the child.
You also participate in internal training on medical hypnosis, the development of the consultation, and raising awareness among care teams about therapeutic hypnotic communication.
You benefit from a caring and supportive environment focused on the quality of the therapeutic relationship and the co-construction of care with the child and their family.
You wish to join an innovative activity centered on the care relationship and mind-body approaches.
