The SCHAFFHAUSER SPECIAL SCHOOLS are an independent public-law institution of the canton of Schaffhausen. More than 480 children and young people with physical and/or cognitive impairments, with speech, hearing or other profound developmental disabilities are currently taught and supported integratively in the regular schools of the canton or separately at four locations in the city of Schaffhausen. In addition to various therapy services, we run a school-complementary area with lunch service, day structure and boarding school. Over 580 employees are committed in various functions at the SCHAFFHAUSER SPECIAL SCHOOLS. Immediately or by arrangement, we are looking for a specialist teacher for our Lernbahn - School at Bleicheplatz with a workload of at least 30% for the following subjects:
  • Media & Computer Science
  • French
  • Career Orientation
It is also possible to teach only one or two subjects. Your deployment is cross-level (1st - 3rd cycle) and in the field of special education. Our school - as part of the SCHAFFHAUSER SPECIAL SCHOOLS - is under development. Our premises are located directly at Schaffhausen train station. We currently teach 18 children and young people with highly challenging behavior and wish for experience and/or a qualification in this area. - You are passionate about the content of your school subject(s) and want to pass on this enthusiasm.
- You are a team player and recognize the importance of close cooperation in dealing with children with behavioral problems.
  • Are you firmly grounded in life, keep calm in hectic situations and maintain an overview?
  • Do you master everyday life with heart and a pinch of humor, are authentic, communicative, conflict-capable, solution-oriented and bring a passion for the topic
