About the job
What you will do here
- Be responsible for stage productions (lighting technology, lighting design, stage technology, transports, technical coordination) at the Swiss Opera Studio
- Be responsible for the technical implementation of stage productions as well as for the technical support of student projects
- Contribute lighting and stage technology expertise to the artistic work of the degree program
- Plan all productions and projects regarding technical aspects and participate in the overall scheduling of the degree program
- Manage, maintain, and provide the technical equipment
What you ideally bring with you
- Successful training as a specialist in event technology EFZ (or equivalent) with a focus on lighting and/or stage technology as well as proven experience in the theater field, ideally also in music theater
- The ability to implement and further develop the lighting and stage technical requirements in stage productions and in the degree program
- Confident handling of all technical possibilities as well as creative and technical participation in the artistic concerns
- Affinity for planning and experience in scheduling processes
- Teamwork skills, enjoyment in collaborating within the degree program and working with students
