The Facility Services operation of the Stiftung Bühl consists of the two sub-areas cleaning / laundry as well as caretaking. We are committed to ensuring that young people with learning disabilities achieve a good apprenticeship qualification in order to lead as independent a life as possible, integrate professionally and socially, and participate in society.
Do you have a completed professional qualification in the field of hospitality, household management, or an equivalent qualification in the field of facility services as well as a diploma from a higher technical school or a comparable qualification? Do you already have several years of professional experience, ideally in a leadership position? Do you enjoy working with young people and supporting their professional development and want to pass on your expertise in a dynamic, meaningful environment?
For the Facility Services operation, we are looking for a
Subject Coordinator / Subject Coordinator Household Management 100%
You will take over the subject coordination of the household management operation and report to the operations management. In this hub function, you are currently co-responsible for eleven employees – distributed across the two sub-areas caretaking as well as cleaning / laundry. In addition, you ensure that around twelve apprentices are optimally supported and challenged.
Your tasks
- Coordination of the tasks arising in your area of expertise – household management, cleaning, and laundry.
- Organization and planning of holidays and absences as well as daily and weekly tasks for employees and apprentices.
- Inventory management of consumables and pharmacy materials and conducting inventories in consultation with operations management.
- Purchasing of work clothes and outfitting new employees and apprentices in consultation.
- Practical work with apprentices in the hospitality-household management area.
- Participation in team meetings and active involvement in projects.
- Support of employees in the challenging daily work, especially in dealing with young people with special needs.
- Promotion of the professional and personal development of apprentices and employees.
Your qualifications
- Completed basic training in household management or hospitality (EFZ).
- Qualification as a vocational trainer.
- You have already gained initial experience in organization and coordination as well as in leading and supporting apprentices.
- A respectful and appreciative leadership style is important to you.
- Enjoyment in working with young people, ideally with experience in supporting apprentices with special needs.
- High communication skills, flexibility, and an independent working style.
